How big is a typical job
Most projects are two to six weeks of engineering. Site work is across the Hunter. Design and programming is done in Newcastle, for sites anywhere in NSW.
Imported machines
A machine bought overseas often arrives with no drawings and safety circuits that don't meet Australian standards. How we fix that.

Control panel design and build
Design, supply and build of control panels for new machines, skids and production lines.
- Electrical schematics, panel layout drawings and a bill of materials.
- Parts procured by us, or supplied by you.

- PLC and HMI programming.
- Factory acceptance test before delivery.

Pump station controls and telemetry
Stormwater, sewer, dams, leachate ponds and water features.
- Level and flow control, and pump rotation.
- Soft or variable-speed starts, so a generator or a long supply cable copes.
- Generator and solar for sites with no mains power.
- A text when something is wrong, and a morning report.
- Old SMS units and diallers replaced with a controller that reports level, pump state, fuel and battery.
- For councils and operators with a control room: the site on your existing SCADA, with alarms, history and a record for the regulator.

Working with installers and contractors
For pump station installers, machine builders and electrical contractors with no controls engineer on staff. We do the controls on your project, under your name if you want. Your client stays yours.

A written description of what the equipment has to do, the choice of PLC and screen, electrical drawings and safety circuits.
The program and the screens
Written and tested on the bench before site. Drive settings. Whatever brand your client already uses.
On site with you
Checking the wiring against the drawings, commissioning, and fault finding when it doesn't start first go.
How it works
- We quote you in hours against our rate card. You mark it up or pass it through.
- We invoice you, or your client direct if you prefer. We don't quote your client behind you. If they ring us, we ring you.
- Drawings, programs and backups are handed over at the end.
- Licensed electrical work stays with you or your electrician.
